Barcelona cruised to another La Liga victory on Saturday afternoon, putting six past Getafe even as Lionel Messi missed a penalty.
Luis Enrique’s side are now 11 points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid and 15 ahead of Real Madrid in third.
After Juan Rodriguez gave the visitors the advantage as early as the eighth minute with an own-goal, Messi’s weak spot-kick was saved by Vicente Guaita, but five more goals were scored before an hour was played.
Munir El Haddadi, Neymar and Messi all scored to make it 4-0 at half-time. Neymar bagged a brace in the 51st minute before Arda Turan put the cherry on top with a spectacular overhead kick in the 57th minute.
Messi racked up three assists in the rout as Barcelona secured their 12th consecutive La Liga win and extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 37 matches.
Barcelona have now scored 117 goals and conceded just 20 in those 37 unbeaten games. They next take on Arsenal at the Nou Camp in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
