Former Warri Wolves striker, Gbolahan Salami has landed in Finland to team up with top-flight club, KuPS, after he secured a work permit. Salami will now team up with ex-Wolves captain, Azubuike
Egwuekwe and former Sunshine Stars of Akure midfielder, Paul Onobi at the same club. Salami, who was top scorer of the Nigeria league with 17 goals last season, initially saw his journey to Finland
delayed due to non-issuance of a work permit. He has now put that behind him and finally arrived
alongside youth international defender Abubakar Aliyu, who will undergo trials with the club.
The 19-year-old defender, who won the FIFA U17 World Cup with Nigeria in 2013, posted a brief stint in Israel last year.
